For many people, the new year marks a new resolution, and country singers are no different. Jimmy Wayne and Bigg Vinny Hickerson and Butter from Trailer Choir shared their 2012 goals with The Tennessean.

“My New Year’s resolution is to get my new music out, film a movie, attend the Super Bowl with the New Orleans Saints, drink less coffee and get a bill passed in the state of Tennessee to extend aging out of the foster care system from 18 to 21,” Wayne says.

Hickerson, who made it into the final four on the last season of The Biggest Loser, dropping 206 pounds since February, wants to spend the next 12 months teaching others what he’s learned about health and fitness. “My New Year’s resolution is to share this blessing I got last year with everyone I can to help the world become more healthy,” he says. “And I want to make millions of people smile.”

Butter, his duo partner in Trailer Choir, is a little more carefree with his pledge. “I want to ride faster horses, drink older whiskey, love my younger wife and make more money Tom T. Hall style.”

New York, NY– (December 15, 2011) – With top singles like “Off the Hillbilly Hook,” “Rockin’ the Beer Gut” and “Rollin’ Through the Sunshine,” Country Legend Toby Keith knew he had signed the right act for his label imprint Show Dog Nashville. I found the love of my life and what Butter and I have created and do, as our livelihood is definitely something I want to continue. A friend joked with me to enter and I was picked,” says the not so “big”, Bigg Vinny. “My whole life I have been told that things couldn’t happen and I am living proof that with hard work and a determined mind you can make your dreams happen!”

The Final:Week 13

Hey Y'all,

Well, we finally made it to Finale week!

This was such an exciting time because our entire Biggest Loser family got to reconnect in Los Angeles. I was so proud of the transformations everyone went through this season. Every single one of the contestants looked so good. I was so proud to know that ever since that first moment of meeting in the desert, none of us gave up.

It was really fun to be on the stage experiencing the show live with the rest of America. I was able to look out into the crowd and see all of my supporters. I had so many friends and family with me, but it was truly the best to see my fiancée, Lori, watching me from the crowd. She has seen my journey full circle; from the moment I was diagnosed with diabetes to all of my weight loss here on the show. I have to say, I think I looked extremely dapper in my blue crush velvet jacket from Robert Graham. And in case anyone was wondering, I got to keep it, so look out Nashville! Sexy Vinny will be returning to town soon.
