For many people, the new year marks a new resolution, and country singers are no different. Jimmy Wayne and Bigg Vinny Hickerson and Butter from Trailer Choir shared their 2012 goals with The Tennessean.

“My New Year’s resolution is to get my new music out, film a movie, attend the Super Bowl with the New Orleans Saints, drink less coffee and get a bill passed in the state of Tennessee to extend aging out of the foster care system from 18 to 21,” Wayne says.

Hickerson, who made it into the final four on the last season of The Biggest Loser, dropping 206 pounds since February, wants to spend the next 12 months teaching others what he’s learned about health and fitness. “My New Year’s resolution is to share this blessing I got last year with everyone I can to help the world become more healthy,” he says. “And I want to make millions of people smile.”

Butter, his duo partner in Trailer Choir, is a little more carefree with his pledge. “I want to ride faster horses, drink older whiskey, love my younger wife and make more money Tom T. Hall style.”

New York, NY– (December 15, 2011) – With top singles like “Off the Hillbilly Hook,” “Rockin’ the Beer Gut” and “Rollin’ Through the Sunshine,” Country Legend Toby Keith knew he had signed the right act for his label imprint Show Dog Nashville. The Final:Week 13

Hey Y'all,

Well, we finally made it to Finale week!

This was such an exciting time because our entire Biggest Loser family got to reconnect in Los Angeles. I was so proud of the transformations everyone went through this season. Every single one of the contestants looked so good. I was so proud to know that ever since that first moment of meeting in the desert, none of us gave up.

It was really fun to be on the stage experiencing the show live with the rest of America. I was able to look out into the crowd and see all of my supporters. I had so many friends and family with me, but it was truly the best to see my fiancée, Lori, watching me from the crowd. She has seen my journey full circle; from the moment I was diagnosed with diabetes to all of my weight loss here on the show. I have to say, I think I looked extremely dapper in my blue crush velvet jacket from Robert Graham. And in case anyone was wondering, I got to keep it, so look out Nashville! Sexy Vinny will be returning to town soon.

Engaged

Hey Y'all,

Well, if you watched last night's episode then you know I can now officially change my Facebook status to engaged! I can't even begin to express how much of an emotional journey I went on during this episode. I proposed to the love of my life, but also faced the reality that I would not be The Biggest Loser at the finale.

This episode started off with returning to my home in Nashville. I was greeted by friends and family at one of my favorite venues, 12th and Porter. This place has meant so much to me over the years and my band Trailer Choir has played quite a few shows there. Getting to perform on the stage, over 100 pounds lighter this time, was a surreal moment. I realized that The Biggest Loser has truly saved my life and has given me the chance to continue a career that I love.

Hollaville Records duo Trailer Choir member and NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” contestant Vinny Hickerson proposed to his longtime girlfriend Lori Diaz. His proposal will be featured during Tonight’s (12/6) episode of the show at 9p (ET).

Vinny tells People Magazine in an exclusive interview, he popped the question during a date at the Grand Ole Opry. He added, “I wanted to take her there because it's a place where so many dreams have come true, right there on that stage. My biggest dream is to be a great husband and a great father, and fall in love."

The Biggest Loser November 29, 2011

Nashville-based Bigg Vinny Hickerson has made it to the final four on TV reality show The Biggest Loser. The Trailer Choir singer lost 10 pounds on Tuesday’s episode, more than any other contestant, for a total of 112 pounds lost.

The week was the makeover episode, which showed each contestant getting full-blown Hollywood makeovers complete with wardrobe from celebrity stylist Jeannie Mai and haircuts from stylist to the stars Ken Paves. It’s also the week Hickerson got to see his girlfriend, Lori, for the first time since the competition began.

BL-Week 11- The Makeover

Hey Y'all,

I can't believe I am finally here at makeover week on the ranch!

We started off this week with a challenge to put on all the weight we had lost so far on the ranch. For me that was 102 pounds. We had to put on different layers of weights and were able to take them off at different points on our walk.

To put that weigh back on was extremely eye opening. I couldn't believe this was what I had walked around in. One hundred and two pounds of weight that I was able to strip off in in one challenge summed up my entire journey on the ranch thus far.

It might be Thanksgiving week, but Nashville country artist Bigg Vinny Hickerson was doing anything but gobbling down pumpkin pie on this week’s episode of The Biggest Loser. Early in the show, Hickerson won a three-pound advantage going into the weigh-in, which ultimately saw him break the 100-pound mark in his weight loss and made him the week’s biggest loser on the ranch.
